New directive at work.
Because the offices at Cathcart have marble stairs and because people keep falling/slipping/tumbling down them, there is a new policy regarding footwear.
Footwear must ALWAYS have good grips on the soles, no toes should be on display and they must be securely fastened.
Anyone NOT adhering to this is given a suitable warning and any further infractions are dealt by sending you home and docking you a day's wage.
It doesn't bother me as I encase my feet in Doc Marten's finest, but I'm concerned that they'll start sending people 'round to the flat to dress me in the morning.
